Noah’s Ark Animal Hospitals offer preventive and wellness care for pets, and complete medical, surgical, and dental services. We have a complete pet pharmacy including prescription diets as well as our TLC boarding and grooming services. We have two fully staffed hospitals to provide support for all your pet’s needs. We are amongst the few hospitals in Virginia that provide overnight supervision for hospitalized and boarding pets. Our Night Nurses work Mon- Fri and we have a Licensed Veterinary Technician and Veterinarian on call until 11pm for after-hours consult in case of an emergency. Our staff regularly attend continuing education seminars to remain at the forefront of the veterinary practice.
VHC offers complementary holistic veterinary care services, including: acupuncture, Chinese herbal medicine, homeopathy, chiropractic care, therapeutic massage, physical therapy and rehab. Holistic care is helpful in treating a variety of health issues in dogs and cats, including: mild to severe mobility impairment, spinal injuries and disc disease, pain due to injury or arthritis, skin problems or allergies, kidney disease, pancreatitis, Cushing’s disease, diabetes, Addison’s disease, canine hypothyroidism, urinary problems, digestive issues, separation anxiety and behavior issues, vaccinosis, seizures, epilepsy, and much more.

Hospital background: Hybla Valley Veterinary Hospital was a small animal hospital established in 1948 by Dr. E. J. Schrenzel. Although many changes have occured in southeastern Fairfax County, Hybla Valley Veterinary Hospital has remained fairly consistent. From our first home, which was in a small building with a few cages, we have grown to several examination rooms and 30 boarding cages. The professional staff has grown from solo practice by Dr. Schrenzel to three veterinarians and we hope to add a fourth doctor to our practice in the near future.
