Ajax’s Greenwood Conservation Area has beautiful views and a large area for off leash dog action. PLEASE DO NOT ENTER GREENWIOOD PARK MAIN ENTRANCE (off of Westney Road), as the main part of the park is supposed to be dog-free.

Miller Avenue Off-Leash Dog Park is open 24 hours a day, and welcomes dogs and people of all kinds (though puppies under four months are prohibited for vaccination reasons). The facility is fenced and handicapped-accessible, and offers tables, water, and bag dispensers for collecting animal waste. The Miller Avenue Off-Leash Dog Park is located at Miller Avenue and Rodick Road in Markham.

The area, a fenced in 1 hectare site is located in Ward 3 within Phyllis Rawlinson Park just north of Leslie Street and 19th avenue. It is contained by a 1.5m galvanized wired fence with cedar timber posts. The site features a separate small dog area, double gated entrance, an upgraded access path to meet accessibility standards, and onsite parking and bathroom facilities.

The area, a fenced 3/4 hectare site, is located in Ward 4 on Town-owned open space lands south of Tower Hill Road and just west of Yonge Street. It is contained by a 1.5 m tall chain link fence with a separate small dog area and a double-gated entry and exit area. The area is also located on the Town’s trail system to maximize its accessibility and the site will not impact any designated sensitive environmental areas.

Lovely large leash-free park with walking trails. Access is off Don River Boulevard from Sheppard Avenue West. There are rules posted at the three entrances (i.e., no muzzle orders, no unaltered dogs) which are all double-entry gates.

This 125-year-old park and recreation area is 398-acres of gorgeous gardens, hiking trails, picnic areas, playgrounds, and fun activities. Home to birds, fish, rare plant species, and the famous Oak, Savannah’s beauty is in high supply. Plus, there are baseball fields, an outdoor pool, ice rink, tennis courts, a green house, a zoo, and the High Park Adventure Playground for the kids.

This is a four Acre all fenced in dog park with secure two way entrance and an additional small dog park all fenced in as well. The park is lit at night and water tanks for dog consumption only is available. This is the best dog park I have ever been to, thanks to the volunteers and member/sponsors. This park is a dream to walk in. It’s very spacious with grass and lots of trees. It’s well maintain too. It can get busy but also at times you can walk it without seeing another dog, unitl you meet in the circle again. My dogs always have a good time and meet many nice dogs and the owners we’ve met are responsible and supervise their dogs with care. I highly recommend this park. It’s conveniently locate close to a dog friendly hotel and the marina. They do accept small donations if you wish to contrbute, but not necessary. No membership required.

Ancaster Leash Free Dog Park is a natural oasis of 22 acres of totally fenced, double entry gated, stream present, park benched, walking trailed facility run in partnership with the Ancaster Leash Free Dog Park Volunteer Group and the City of Hamilton. Also known as Cinema Park, the park is open year round to visitors from all regions in and around Hamilton Ontario Canada. The park is located on Golf Links Road between Legend Court and Kitty Murray Lane directly beside the Silver City Movie Cinemas. This location if in the heart of the Ancaster Power Centre gives opportunty for those who visit the area for shopping to allow their dear family pooches a chance to run free without danger. For those visitors to the Hamilton Wentworth Region in Southern Ontario we are a great place to bring your pooches to enjoy the canine social scene and nature.

There is an off-leash dog park located at Poplar Side Road between Hurontario Street & Raglan Street. It’s reported to be rarely used and somewhat poorly maintained with lots of holes and tree stumps.

The Small Dog Play Group meets monthly for socialization and exercise for dog 25 pounds and under.

Freedom Dog Park is a great off leash dog park, fully fenced in with a separate small dog/puppy area and a separate fenced in pond for swimming. No running water but it is right beside the sports field where there is running water and bathrooms in the summer.
