The City of Midland’s only off leash dog park. The park has 5 fenced acres that are divided into a large dog area(over 30 lbs) and a small dog area. The large dog area is 3.5 acres and the small dog area is 1.5 acres. Each area has benches and shade structures as well as watering stations and trees. There are restrooms and an adjacent facility with outdoor grills and covered eating areas. Owners must be in the area with their dogs. No children under 8 are allowed and children between 8 and 16 must be accompanied by an adult. Their are doggy potty bags and disposal stations. Owners are responsible for cleaning up after their dogs. Owners can be asked to leave for not following the posted rules. Open from sunrise to sunset. Location: 1201 E. Wadley. Directions: From I-20 take the Fairgrounds Rd. exit. Go north about 3.5 miles to Wadley. Turn left and go about 3/4 of a mile and the entrance to the park is on the right.
