Howard Johnson Express Inn Bakersfield is pet friendly! Two pets of any size are welcome for an additional fee of $10 per pet per night.

Kroll Park Off-Leash Dog Park Kroll Park is located at the intersection of Kroll Way and Maltavo Dr. just west of Gosford Rd. This park offers individual picnic areas, a large sandlot style play area, and a very large leash free zone for dogs. This large, fenced off-leash dog park is located near Stockdale Hwy and Gosford on the west side of Bakersfield. To get there from Highway 99, take Stockdale Hwy west to Gosford, turn left and then turn left onto Kroll Way.
Vagabond Inn Bakersfield South is pet friendly! Pets are welcome for a fee of $5/ night for each pet. There is no size restriction or limit on the number of pets per room.

We feed Science Diet (Hills) products for all boarding animals. If your pet has special needs, such as a special diet, please remember to bring with your pet at the time of boarding.
Our boarding area is for our clients only. We typically do not board non-clients pets. The only exception to this policy is for clients who have family or friends visiting from out of the area and need a place to board their pets.
All pets must have proof of the following:
• Rabies Vaccination
• DHLPPC Vaccination
• Bordetella (Kennel Cough) Vaccination
All vaccines must have been given by a licensed Veterinarian. We are unable to accept owner/breeder/boarding facility vaccine records as proof of vaccinations.
