Truly dog friendly Beach on a Gorgeous lake! Abundant, well maintained fields as well.Parking is by meter and is $4.00 for 2 hours. Parking is limited. I went on a Sunday and got the last spot furthest from the beach, but the walk to the beach across a gorgeous green meadow became part of the adventure. It was crowded but, for the most part, all dogs were well behaved and properly handled. Leashes are required, so I brought my 20 foot biothane lead with me. We played and swam for two hours! Bring at least 2 floatable toss toys, your own poop bags, extra water for the pooch. If you prepare properly, you could swim/play in the morning, picnic lunch, and swim/play some more. Not necessarily a dog walking beach, more of beach access to a very clean lake for swimming with your pal. I assume there were human comfort stations, however as I was by myself with my Malinois, I was not able to explore that aspect. No photo’s because my hands were full (in the best way!!!) I am in Lake Placid NY on Mirror Lake for a 6 weeks and have yet to find entry here to the dog friendly beach.
