Directions: Just turn right on to industrial drive and then pull in to the shelter and go around the back.
Completely Fenced; Mutt Mitt Station, Benches, Pond, Double Gates, Parking. Location: Corner of Massard Road & Louisville Street. Directions: From Rogers Avenue (at red light at Wal-Mart SuperCenter), turn right onto Massard…drive to Louisville, turn right…park is on right.
A new fenced, off-leash dog park in Jacksonville, Arkansas. Location: Redmond Road. Directions: From Hwy 67/167 South in Jacksonville, take the Main Street Exit, turn right, then left on Municipal Drive. Youï¾’ll pass city hall and the community center on the left, and at the end of Municipal, youï¾’ll cross train tracks and come to a stop sign. Turn left onto Redmond Road, and the entrance to Dupree Park is ahead on the left. Once you enter the park, wind down through the baseball fields until you see Dupree Lake, and the dog park is alongside the lake on the left. Park and enter at the back edge of the area. From Hwy 67/167 North in Jacksonville, take the Redmond Road exit, turn left and proceed into Dupree Park as described above.
Fenced dog park. Separate areas for large and small dogs. Plenty of trees and benches, toys and water. Soon to add dog bathing station. Location: Nursery Road Next to Rogers Humane Society. Directions: East on New Hope; turn Right at First Street; approx. 1/2 mile turn Left onto Nursery.

Directions: To find Murray Park take highway 10 ( called Cantrell Road in town ) from it’s intersection with I-430 and go east into town, 4.5 miles will bring you to the top of a steep hill ( Cantrell hill ) on a curve. Descend the hill the first left turn is Coffee Pot Lane, take the second called Old Cantrell Road. Take second left again onto Rebsamen Park Road. Follow this road and you will see Rebsamen Golf Course and the Arkansas River on your right. Murray Park is just past the golf course.

All dogs shall be maintained on a leash not to exceed 8 feet, this includes trails and canyons in all parks. For those parks that have been designated dog off leash areas, dogs must be leashed until inside the posted boundary for the off leash area.

2 Acre dog park! This 2-acre dog park includes two separate areas to exercise dogs off-leash, one for large dogs and one for small dogs. Each area has an agility play area, walking trail and benches. Location: 1575 Pleasant Grove Boulevard. Directions: Located off of Pleasant Grove Boulevard within Mahany Park.

2,250 acre park. Dogs are allowed leashless in the undeveloped areas, North or Upper Park Road, only the lakes are off limits. In the developed areas West of Manzanita Ave., dogs can go leashless before sunrise to 8:30am. Highway 99, go East on Bruce Road, left on Chico Canyon Drive, left at Manzanita Avenue, and continue for about half a mile to Upper Park Road.

Location: 1250 Dell Ave. Directions: From San Jose – Currently, the northernmost access to the trail is located at Blackford Elementary School, near the intersection of Leigh Avenue and Willow Street. Limited on-street parking is available at Bascom Avenue, north of Hamilton Avenue. From Campbell – Access and parking are available; from Campbell Park on Los Gatos Creek at Campbell Avenue; from Los Gatos Creek County Park located on Dell and Hacienda Avenues, from Old Camden Ave., and from the westerly end of Campisi Way, north of Campbell Avenue. Additional access points are located at Camden Avenue/Highway 17 and Railway Avenue. From Los Gatos – Access and parking are available; from Vasona County Park and Oak Meadow Park off Blossom Hill Road, from downtown Los Gatos at Miles Avenue, Main Street, and Forbes Mill, and from the Lexington Reservoir Dam. Public transit is available to Los Gatos Creek Trail. Located inside Los Gatos Creek Park next to the casting ponds. Its a County park so there is a fee for parking in their lot. Pet boarding – our only business – and one that reflects our life long relationship with dogs and cats!
Only boarding! While animal care facilities of more recent vintage gather several animal oriented businesses together, businesses such as grooming, training, boutiques and spas, we’ve chosen to be expert in just one – boarding of dogs and cats.
We’ve been at our kennel for over 20 years, and during that time have seen fads and changes in pet care come and go. Our “bottom line” objective in pet care has always been to:
• Provide secure, safe, and healthy surroundings
• Staff with “dog and cat people” that are aware and sensitive to animal behavior.
• Treat our “guests” as you would like to be treated. Our “Furry Golden Rule”
Tens of thousands of our guests have enjoyed, and continue to enjoy that approach to their care. The more recently established pet care facilities seem to emphasize amenities more fitting for human consumption, and while we understand their motivation, we’re not so certain that our canine and feline guests do!

Boarding Your Cat
Our cozy Cattery is located in a separate building, quite apart from the main dog kennel area. While your cat may be accustomed to some canine interplay, in particular if your family is boarding both your cat and dog, we find our “aloof” cat guests much prefer their own private area and housing.
Just like our canine guests, cats do thrive on routine. Our staff provides your cat or cats with either special food that you provide, or our top quality Pro Plan Cat Food. While cats can be very choosy about their food, we find that our Pro Plan menu is well liked by all.
The Cattery is small but cozy, and equipped with private “dens” for our guests. Our dens provide a horizontal space for isometric “stretching” exercise, not vertical “condos”, where jumping can lead to injury. They measure 8′ x 2′ x 2′, plenty of room for stretching, and their bedding, toilet, and toys. They are obviously cleaned daily, or during the day if necessary.
The Cattery is temperature controlled with air-conditioning and/or heat, and an all-important, fresh-air turbine and built-in wall fan for proper fresh air circulation. Good fresh air circulation in any pet care facility is of paramount importance in minimizing cross-contamination of air-borne diseases.
While cats enjoy their privacy and sedentary lifestyle, our staff keeps them quite active, in particular while cleaning their dens. Playtime on the Cattery “gymnasium”, different toys to play with, a view of a faux aquarium with moving fish, and simply extra attention keep them plenty busy – if they want to be – while they wait to return home. The feline member or members of your family will find they have been in good hands at West Valley Pet Lodge.
