Dr. Villar was born in Spain but considers himself a Virginia native, having lived most of his life in Charlottesville. Early on he developed a keen interest in animals, having been in their constant company as a child. His family owned a small farm that at one time or another raised pet horses, cattle, sheep, goats, pigs, dogs, cats, chickens, ducks and let’s not forget his prize winning donkey, Mikey.Dr. Villar pursued his Bachelor’s at the University of Virginia.

Dr. Urbanz attended Auburn University where she received a degree in both Zoology and Veterinary Medicine. She then completed a fellowship at the Scott-Ritchey Research Center in veterinary medical studies. Dr. Urbanz completed an internship in small animal medicine and surgery at University of Minnesota. Dr. Urbanz joined the residency program at Eye Care for Animals in 1999 and became a board certified Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Ophthalmologists in 2002.

Pets (up to 30 lbs) are welcome for an additional fee of $20.00 per pet per night.
Comfort Suites Gadsden welcomes a maximum of two pets, 60lbs or less, per guest room for an additional $25 (plus tax) per pet, per night. Cats are welcome.
Budget Inn Gadsden allows two dogs of any size for a fee of $7 per night per night.
Days Inn Attalla allows up to two dogs of any size per guest room for an additional fee of $15 per pet per night.
Rodeway Inn Gadsden accepts two pets under 50 lbs for a fee of $8 per pet per night.
Econo Lodge Attalla accepts two pets of any size for a fee of $10 per pet per night.
Comfort Inn Tallapoosa allows one dog under 10 lbs. for a fee of $15.00 per night.
Classes in basic obedience training along with more advanced training are offered. Training tips are given to make your pet a more reliable and well behaved member of your family. Behavior modification is possible if you have the right training. Socialization is achieved through group sessions with other owners and their dogs. Boarding is available in clean, well-kept facilities with both indoor and outdoor kennels. Kingdom K-9 has over 30 years of expert training.
