Motel 6 is the original pet friendly hotel chain! Pets stay for free, and there is no weight limit or restriction on the number of dogs per room.
The Knights Inn of Lenexa allows up to two pets 30 lbs and under for a $10 per night per pet. Limited pet friendly rooms. Please do not leave pets unattended in guest rooms.
Super 8 Lenexa Overland Park Area welcomes two pets under 30 lbs for an additional fee of $10.89 per pet per night. Pets must be in a kennel and cannot be left unattended in the room.

A special dog area here allows about a 1/2 mile walk to a lake. Dirctions: This park is in the Kansas part of the 435 loop. Take Interstate 4-35 to 87th street, go west about two miles turn right after the baseball fields into Shawnee Mission park. Turn left at the stop. Park is on right. Other Directions: Take Highway 7 south out of Leavenworth, past I-70. Turn east on 83rd Street, south on Woodland, connect with 87th St east, the park entrance is on the left, just before Johnson County Baseball Park. After you enter, take the first left turn. The Dog park is just up on the right.
Extended StayAmerica Kansas City/Lenexa is pet friendly! One pet of any size is welcome for an additional fee of $25 per night with a maximum charge of $150 per stay.
A very large completely fenced off leash dog area park. The park includes water for dogs, (and humans). This 9 acre fenced park is the best dog park I have found in the state of Kansas. The majority of it, is open, and small portion of it has tree’s with a few walking paths through it. (Watch out for standing water, the dogs like to lay down in it!) Location: On 119th Street between Quivera and Pflumm. Directions: From I-435 and Quivera go south on Quivera to 119th and take a right, Stoll park will be on your right.
