Each dog has an individual indoor pen connected to an outside run; for your pups comfort all floors are radiantly heated. The kennel is cleaned and disinfected daily. Runs range in size from 42 square feet to 120 square feet. Pens are assigned based on availability, pets size and needs.
A security perimeter fence completely surrounds the dog boarding facility and TLC exercise yards. The kennel is protected by both fire and burglar alarm systems.
We feed the Iams and Eukanuba pet foods.
Arrangements can be made for special dietary requirements.
The Cattery is located in three bright and airy rooms in our newest building. Each “kitty condo” is divided into four sections with room for eating, privacy, resting and stretching. The Cattery is cleaned daily. We feed Iams dry cat food and offer a variety of canned foods.
We offer in-home, individualized dog training. We come to your home and train on your schedule, where your dog feels comfortable.
The House of Paws The owner, Cathy, is caring, patient, and knowledgable when working with your pet. She has been actively involved in pet care since 1994 including over seven years at an award winning animal hospital. She has over 10 years experience as a pet stylist and has achieved many certifications in various aspects of canine health and sports. 2,018 acres all off leash. This area is open to hunting as it’s run by the Mass. Fisheries and Game division. Where blaze orange from October to January. Location: Enter off of Rte 140 north in Gardner, behind the North County Correctional Institute on Colony Road, or just beyond Colony Road at the turn off that says ‘Wildlife viewing area. Directions: Take rte 2 west to exit 24, rte 140 north. The two entrances are on your right. There are other entances in Westminster and Ashburnham.
Super 8 Motel Gardner allows two pets under 50 lbs for a fee of $15 per pet per night.

Three pet-friendly rooms are available. Multiple pets of any size are welcome for an additional $25 per stay. ($27.50 total)
The Jenkins Inn is pet friendly. They welcome multiple dogs of any size for a fee of $10 per night per pet.
Visitors may park in the small parking area on Sandy Lane. From there, it is only a short walk down a well-marked, maintained wooden trail to Gilmore Pond. While there is not techically a beach area, Gilmore Pond has very clear shallow water and a wonderful sand bottom that will make you think you are in the tropics. You can swim at your own risk but there are no lifeguards on duty. Gilmore Pond has the reputation of being the party/dog beach in town since on a hot Saturday afternoon its very typical to find a large crowd of people drinking on floats in the water. This is illegal and not encouraged since it is a town beach. However, week days tend to be mild in nature and people with dogs flock here.
