New clients’ rate: DOGS $35 per day.
BIG Discounts available: longtime-client, frequent guests, multiple pets (10 PERCENT OFF TOTAL), military (thank you for your service!); rescues; search or medical (“service”) dogs.
CATS $28 per day.
Pickup at 8:30 a.m. or noon is half-day charge; check-in 5:30 p.m. no charge for that night.
DAILY RATE IS ALL-INCLUSIVE: no extra charges for medications, special food (unless refrigeration is needed) or special pampering. HOLIDAY DEPOSITS may apply, as well as holiday cancellation fees.
HAVE PETS? WILL TRAVEL was started back in 1998 to give residents in Valley Center a safe, clean and loving home to leave their loveable little pets. Each little guest has different needs, which we accommodate with personal loving care. We built our new home with a special playroom,covered porch and yard for our guest. We offer special feedings, exercising, and daily walks. Along with Home Boarding we provide Doggie Daycare and Grooming Services. We have free transportation to all our visitors to and from your home. While your away, if you would rather leave your pets in the comfort of your home, we provide Professional Pet Sitting, Home Sitting, and Dog Walking. Boarding at Alaska Dog Wash Resort is fantastic fun for dogs! We realize no dog wants to be caged up or put in a run all day, so we provide a different kind of boarding experience. Here, dogs really get to be dogs. They get to play, run, jump and sniff all day long. We have an indoor play area for cold or wet days, and three outside play areas for sunny days. Your pup will make lots of friends while you are away! This kind of boarding lets you go on vacation without worrying about your furry friend. If your dog likes people, but does not do well with other dogs, we can arrange to have your dog kept separate from the play group.

Dr. Todd Palmatier received his degree in veterinary medicine from Colorado State University. He has lived in Anchorage for over 40 years. His special interests include orthopedics, veterinary acupuncture and related holistic medicine. He also volunteers at the Bird Treatment and Learning Center, caring for numerous types of wild, injured birds. Todd and his wife enjoy camping, fishing, and Aikido. They have one dog, Belle, and house some of the rehabilitating raptors from Bird TLC.
