Dr. Shanthi Ramachandran holds a Bachelor’s degree in biology and neuroscience from the University of Pennsylvania, graduating cum laude, as well as a Master’s degree in Physiology and Biostatistics from Georgetown University. Dr. Villar was born in Spain but considers himself a Virginia native, having lived most of his life in Charlottesville. Early on he developed a keen interest in animals, having been in their constant company as a child. His family owned a small farm that at one time or another raised pet horses, cattle, sheep, goats, pigs, dogs, cats, chickens, ducks and let’s not forget his prize winning donkey, Mikey.Dr. Villar pursued his Bachelor’s at the University of Virginia.

Dr. Urbanz attended Auburn University where she received a degree in both Zoology and Veterinary Medicine. She then completed a fellowship at the Scott-Ritchey Research Center in veterinary medical studies. Dr. Urbanz completed an internship in small animal medicine and surgery at University of Minnesota. Dr. Urbanz joined the residency program at Eye Care for Animals in 1999 and became a board certified Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Ophthalmologists in 2002.

Extendedstay Springdale is pet friendly! One pet is welcome for an additional $25/ night fee. ($75 maximum.) There is no weight limit.

Dog Party USA opened in October 2005 with a state-of the art facility and 2.5 acres for dogs to enjoy. Through the years, the facility and staff has grown to meet the needs of its customers to provide that safe, efficient environment that Chaddie dreamed of years ago.
The Towneplace Suites are pet friendly. They do have a non-refundable pet fee of $75.00 per stay, and they accept 3 pets per room.
Inn At the Mill An Ascend Collection Hotel allows pets under 25 lbs. Pets cannot be left alone in the room at any time.

DogWatch is locally owned and operated by animal lovers who truly care for your pets. We work hard to give our animals, and yours, a clean, comfortable, and enjoyable place to spend their days. Our services include boarding for dogs and cats, doggie day care, grooming, bathing, and much more. Our day care dogs enjoy a full day of play time. They will be supervised at all times in an indoor playroom and outside potty area.
The Boonslick Lodge allows up to two pets of any size for an additional fee $10 per day.
