Off leash park, about 1 acre, open 24/7. Has tent for shade (not in winter); handicap accessible, lights at night. Location: 235 Cedar Lane. (inside Cedar Lane Park) Directions: Route 9A north to Cedar Lane exit. Left at stop sign, then go 500 feet and turn left into the park.

Trees, restrooms, parking. Location: Route 202. Behind pool area.

Along lakeside and trails. Trees, bags, benches, trash cans, parking.

Enclosed wood chip area. Exit 13 palisades interstate parkway to route 202 south. Park is on route 202 south, about 5 miles south of exit 13.

This is not a legal off-leash area. While this area is not frequently patrolled by enforcement offices, one does incur some risk when not using a leash. Great off the leash park- hiking trails along the river, tons of great dogs always looking to play, go swimming. Location: south of westover rd in stamford, near the stamford/greenwich border.

Lake, trash receptacles, great trails. Lots of dogs, nice people, streams, lake, very clean. Location: Route 202. Directions: From Rt.287 south, get on Rt. 17 south. Exit onto Rt. 202, (Ramapo Valley Road), pass Ramapo College, entrance on right.

Small but busy. Two fenced areas for large and small dogs. Tends to get a little soggy, but worth a visit. Surrounding waterfront/park area nice for leash walks. Location: Grass Island Road. Directions: I-95 Exit 3 onto Arch Street towards RR bridge (left from N, right from S), left onto Horseneck, left onto Shore, left onto Grass Island. park immediately on right.

2 separate, fenced-in area, 1 for ‘large’, one for ‘small’ dogs. Park hours apply, also parking restrictions as per signs. Location: East Ridgewood Ave. Directions: Rt. 17 to Ridgewood Ave. toward Ridgewood. Duck Pond is on the right, after traffic light at Paramus Rd. Dog areas are in the back, right off the drive-around.

Fully fenced, two separate areas: Small Dog and All Dog. Water, benches, built in toys, great people and pups. Location: Prospect Ridge. Off Governor St. Directions: Rte. 35 or 33 to Main Street in Ridgefield. Past the fountain, first traffic light (Governor St.). Make right, go all the way to the end. Make another right. First left turn is the park.

Daily dawn-dusk Fenced with two large runs: a basic dog run and a canine agility playground with teeter-totter, hurdles, ladder, three chutes and a hanging tire.
