At least a hundred acres of non-working cranberry bogs, wide dirt trails and a sparkling clean pond for those whose dogs love water! This is a secluded heaven on earth. Location: Burrage Pond. Elm St. Halifax MA.

Dog Boarding

We are an “All-Inclusive” boarding facility; we realize how important exercise is in maintaining a physically and mentally healthy pet. Our canine guests are taken outside in our large fenced in play yards a minimum of 4 times per day, so you can rest assured your dog is not sitting idle in a kennel all day. Cats are also allowed out individually to enjoy free range of the entire cat room. This comes standard at no additional charge.

Kennels

Guests residing in our standard kennels have free access to individual 5’ by 10’ indoor areas with 5’ by 12’ outdoor porches (weather permitting, closed at night). Double kennels are also available and are recommended for multiple pets.

Suites

Our spacious, fun-themed suites are ideal for dogs that value their privacy. Each 50 square foot suite is complete with a plush bed, an outdoor run and a complementary morning walk around the property. Suites are reserved for dogs under 50 lbs and senior canine citizens. Suites are not suitable for dog aggressive dogs or jumpers.

Single Suite Price: $35/per day

Double Suite Price: $40/per day

Little’s Lounge – Coming Soon! 

For smaller guests under 25 pounds, our Little’s Lounge is the place to be! Dog friendly guests will enjoy romping around with other compatible dogs in our community area, then retreat to individual kennels for naps, meals and night time. Guests who prefer not to interact with other small dogs are rotated individually so they too can enjoy the spacious community area. Keep an eye on your furry loved ones through our complementary webcam, on all day for your comfort and convenience!

Please note: All dogs participating in the Little’s Lounge group play must be spayed or neutered.

Cat Condos

Cats might seem pretty independent, but we know they need just as much love as dogs do. All of our cat guests have their own special 3 story cat condos in a dog-free section of our boarding facility to provide them a safe and more relaxing personal environment. Each is allowed individual free range of the cat room for a few hours per day or as needed.

Cat Condo Price: $20/per day

Guests may be checked in daily from 9 AM to 5 PM and by appointment on Sundays and holidays. Please note we do not open at 8 AM like the grooming shop.

Check out times are from 9 AM to 5 PM every day excluding Sundays and holidays, which are by appointment. If you need to extend your pets stay an extra night, please do not hesitate to call.

Trouwe Hond K-9 is a family-owned, full service, professional dog training facility proudly serving the greater Boston area. All breeds, ages, and dispositions are welcome. Over 25 years’ experience.

Walking trails to North River. Location: Historic downtown Norwell behind post office.

Kingston and Duxbury. Bay Farm is great, lots of other dogs and people, and a beach on the end for the dogs to swim. During the summer there are mowed paths through the tall grass, they mow the whole thing out in winter and it is a giant field. Dogs are alloed off leash but must be under owner’s control. Part of the Bay Circuit. Bay farm is 66 acres of Farmland on Kingston Bay, lots of dogs, a beach and offleash. Silver Lake is 92 acres wooded on Silver Lake, off leash, not alot of other people. Location: Bay Farm is on Landing Road on the Duxbury side of the Duxbury/Kingston Line. Silver Lake is off the south side of route 27 in Kingston just east of the pemboke/Kingston liine. Long dirt road. Directions: Silver Lake is set far off the road about 1/2 mile. There are multiple trails through the woods and a small beach on Silver Lake. It is a great place to walk, but I have actually only seen (1) other person in the dozen of so times i have walked there with my dog.
