To find us: I-95 to Griffin Road, go west to the first light, make a left, go through the next light (that turn takes you to Bass Pro). The lake will be on the left. Our entrance is at the south end of the lake opposite the sailboats.
Dog Beach of Hollywood is open Friday, Saturday & Sunday. From November through May, the hours are 3pm to 7pm. From April through October, the hours are 5pm to 9pm. Weekend daily passes are $5.00 for residents; $10 for non-residents. A six month pass is $30 for residents and $60 for non-residents. The Dog Beach of Hollywood is monitored by a park ranger, however, dog park etiquette is still highly encouraged. Aggressive dogs are not tolerated, and owners are expected to clean up their dog’s waste. Furthermore, dogs are not allowed on the beach outside the designated hours or location.
Ft. Lauderdale allows dogs on-leash in a large marked area of the beach. There are dog bags, water, and beach showers are all close. There is even a city officer on site to help with any problems and rule enforcement at the beach. The beach is close to the road, but officer and dunes are both between the beach and the road, so really, the only issue is parking. A one weekend permit (Friday, Saturday and Sunday) is $7 per dog.

Haulover Beach Park features a bark park with an enclosure for small dogs (less than 35 lbs.) and large dogs (more than 35 lbs.) located near the south picnic area. Entrance to the bark park is through parking lot #3 located on the west side of Collins Avenue if traveling southbound or through parking lot #4 located on the east side of Collins Avenue if traveling northbound. The bark park features shade trees, picnic tables, and drinking fountains for both dogs and their companions, as well as doggie waste bag dispensers and waste containers. The bark park is open from 8am to sunset, seven days a week. Parking fees are $2 per vehicle. Dogs are also welcome on the beach, near lifeguard tower #3, on weekends from 8am-3pm. This portion of the beach is directly across from the bark park and also accessible through parking lot #3 and #4. PLEASE SEE RULES IN ONE OF THE PHOTOS BELOW.
Miami Beach’s own dog beach was voted #1 dog park in the metro-Miami area by a public poll (Curbed Magazine). Proof of current vaccination required. The bark beach sits adjacent to the eight-block oceanfront natural area of North Shore Open Space Park (also pet friendly for dogs on leashes) with jogging trails, exercise stations and picnic pavilions. The adjoining North Shore is a charming neighborhood filled with tropical mid-century modern buildings listed on the National Register of Historic Places – which provides a great place to dry off with an evening stroll after your swim. A great place to explore old Miami Beach the way if used to be (without the hustle and bustle of South Beach). There are also a few great restaurants nearby with pet-friendly outdoor seating – our favorite is Burgers and Shakes at Collins and 74th Street.
Once you pass the toll you have access to either side of the causeway. Parking is under construction but you can park on the beach for now. Be sure to pass the bridge if the first parts are full because theres more areas over the bridge to the right. Go earlyas nice sandy parts do get full soon. Some parts of the beach have a lot of rocks.
Dog friendly island. Can take Capt Joes ferry over for $10 a day which they also allow dogs or can get there by kayak or boat. Dogs are always running around playing and swimming at the sandbar. You can camp overnight with your furry friend as well. One of few beaches that allow dogs in south FL!
Jupiter Beach is home to one of Florida’s best off-leash beaches. Dogs are free to roam a large section of the beach running along A1A. Visitors can park their cars for free in the lot at the intersection of Ocean Blvd and Marcinski Rd or in one of the spaces along A1A. Friends of Jupiter Beach (FJB) is dedicated to keeping the beach clean & dog-friendly by promoting the rules of the beach & continuous beach cleanup activities. Dogs are not allowed in lifeguarded areas or Town of Jupiter parks, (Carlin Park).

Anne’s Beach is a very secluded dog beach with plenty of shade. There are poop bags and even a fresh water bowl for dogs available. There’s even a good deli just north of the beach if you want to have a picnic at the beach.
