Sandy Beach/River Park is a great dog park. There are lots of dogs to play with, lots of garbage cans for poo bags, plenty of parking, benches and picnic tables, a dog water fountain, and access to the river. To get to the river you must do down a pretty steep path and through a small ‘on-leash’ area but once you cross the bridge there is a small forested area and places for the dogs to play in the water. There is also a nice path that is good for humans! It is gravel so no rollerblading but bikers and strollers can get around this park well. Great for runners too!
