2 acre off-leash dog park (will possibly have memberships) in Palmetto Bay (basically, Miami, Florida). Will be fenced, have poop bag stations, have a digging pit, a lake for doggie swimming, and agility equipment. Location: Southwest 160 Street and US1 (aka South Dixie Highway) in Palmetto Bay, Florida. It is a ‘wayside park’ — a park on the side of the highway that has a lake (we understand that the lakes in Wayside Parks were dug to create fill for the adjoining highway)! Directions: From the North/I-95: Take I-95 south to the last exit. I-95 becomes US1 (aka South Dixie Highway). Take US1 south to SW 160 Street. The dog park is on the East side of the highway at approximately SW 160 Street. From the South/US1: Take US1 (aka South Dixie Highway) north to Southwest 160 Street. The dog park is on the East side of the highway. From the West/Turnpike: Take the FL Turnpike exit at Southwest 152 Street and head East. Take Southwest 152 Street east to US1 (aka South Dixie Highway). At US1, head south to Southwest 160 Street. The dog park is on the East side of the highway.
