Michelle of Miss Belle’s Etiquette School for Dogs is a nationally certified pet dog trainer. She uses positive methods and provides group classes, one-on-one training, and board and train. They have small classes to meet students’ personal needs.
Fido Can Fetch offers private and group dog obedience training. They teach owners how to communicate with their dogs in a manner that the dog can understand. Private lessons are provided in your home, and group classes are held at Lucky Paws Daycare and Boarding – 2900 Hwy 70 East, Clayton, NC.

Simply Pawsitive Training, LLC offers both group classes, in home or at facility privates, or drop off/daycare training. We center on teaching YOU how to train your dog. We offer handouts to help with our instruction and are always available to answer questions our students may have. Even in drop off training you will be instructed on how to teach your pup! We use positive methods that use psychology, not fear, to teach our dogs. We teach everything from the basics to teaching you how to teach your dog to read. We specialize in manners and therapy dog training. Our trainer, Heidi, is a member of the Association for Professional Dog Trainers, Pet Professionals Guild, AKC, UKC, and Therapy Dogs International. She is certified to evaluate AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy, AKC CGC, APDT C.L.A.S.S., and therapy dogs for Love on a Leash. Jameson Inn Sanford is pet friendly! They welcome one pet under 20 lbs for an additional fee of $15 per night. Cats are also welcome but please no exotic pets.

Quality Inn Sanford is pet friendly. They have a pet fee of $20 per stay per pet. They allow multiple pets and do not have a weight restriction.
Boarding
Our boarding facility is the BEST Sanford has to offer. Our guest receives a spacious room including: a Sherpa mat, food and water dishes, daily housekeeping, and multiple potty breaks in a secured area.
Boarding rates are a flat rate per night. For multiple family members sharing a room, you will receive a $5 discount per night off your total bill. For example: Maggie and Abigail are sharing a room for a 5 night stay. They are each charged $31 per night, which brings their boarding total to $310. They will receive a discount of $25.00 off this total because they roomed together.
Our guest receives a wake-up call at 5:30 AM for breakfast and first potty breaks/outside time. After breakfast, outside time/potty breaks are every 2-3 hour for duration of 15-20 minutes. This gives all guest time to run around and burn some energy. Our goal is to make everyone as comfortable and happy as possible while they are away from home. Giving them the most time outside there room hanging out with us is the key to happiness of our boarders. This is what sets us apart from other facilities.
Additional Services and upgrades are offered to all guests. These include:

• Cot Rental (with bedding) *nightly
• Extra Mat *nightly
• Kong w/ Filler
• Snacks (all treats are all natural)
• Playtime/One on One/Kong/Snacks are all one time fees and extend for the duration of your pet’s stay.
We encourage all guest to provide the food your pet is accustom to eating. The food you bring from home must be in a sealed container to comply with USDA requirements. If needed, we will provide meals for your pet. Our facility uses Holistic Select Lamb for all meals. If any food sensitivity occurs we also provide Dave’s Delicate Dinner Bland. All our food is holistic/all natural; we support the healthiest of diets that do not contain any wheat, corn, gluten, or by products. A happy tummy is a healthy dog!! There are additional fee for RAE-ZOR to provide meals.
*NOTE: Switching of dog foods can lead to upset stomachs and our aim is to keep your pet happy and healthy during their stay.
In addition to ensuring your pet’s health during their stay with us, we require all guest be current on the following vaccinations:
• DISTEMPER/PARVO (DHPP)
• BORDETELLA/KENNEL COUGH (BOOSTERED EVERY 6 MONTHS)
• RABIES
• FECAL EXAMINATION (NEGATIVE-REQUIRED YEARLY)
• HEARTWORM TEST/PREVENTION (IF THESE ARE NOT UP TO DATE FECAL EXAM MUST BE SIX MONTHS)
Every pet that comes into our facility will receive a Capstar, which is a preventative that kills fleas is 20 minutes and last for 24 hours. This pill can be used in conjunction with your flea/tick preventative. This ensures our facility remains flea free for everyone rendering our services.
All medication must come in with the prescription label and instructions from your veterinarian.
Check in times are Monday-Friday 7 am – 5 pm, Saturday 9 am- 2 pm, Sunday 1 pm- 4 pm. Check out time is 2 pm Monday-Friday……… Check out time/extra night fee is waived on Saturday and Sunday.

The Microtel Lillington is pet friendly. They welcome up to two pets of any size for a fee of $15 per stay.
