The dog off leash area is about 1 acre in size with a 6 foot chain link fence enclosure. It is about 2/3 grass and 1/3 other terrain, such as dirt and tambark. The park has several established walnut trees, park benches and a couple of picnic tables for the humans to relax. The is a water and bucket for the dogs to drink from. Clean up tools are provided. Directions: 101 to Hellyer, following signs toward Coyote River Park. Go straight through stop sign. Stop at entrance and pay $4.00 (or $50 for a year) for park access. Go straight 1/2 mile and you’ll see dog park.
