Now available only to Decatur residents – permits are required to use.) Approximately 2 acres, partly wooded with large open grassy area, completely fenced. Location: East Lake Drive. After rains, one low spot gets muddy, but the dogs don’t mind. No water supply is provided. Directions: From downtown Decatur, go south on Commerce, and when Commerce dead ends into W. Howard Ave., turn right. Continue on W. Howard for several blocks. (W. Howard does not intersect with East Lake Drive) Turn right onto Paden Circle. Follow Paden Circle around the curve (about 300 feet), then turn right at the light onto East Lake Drive (which passes under the Marta bridge and W. Howard that you just got off of). Continue several blocks until the road veers sharply to the left. The park is on the left just before the Boys and Girls Club and across the street from The Phoenix School. To park, turn left at the stop sign and there is parking on the right in front of another park.
