Family Pet Boarding offers boarding for dogs and cats at our full service kennel. Our boarding facility provides a comfortable and relaxing home away from home for your pet when you need to be away on business, vacation or an emergency.
Reservations and Rates
Reservations are required at all times to assure availability of service and facilities and to avoid disappointment. Occasionally, facilities may be available without reservation, so please call, even at the last moment. A rate schedule is available upon request. Your bill is payable at the time of departure. Family Pet Boarding accepts cash and all major credit cards.
Boarding Policies
• Check out time is 11 am. An additional day of boarding will be charged after 11 am.
• We recommend bringing your pet’s regular food. If this is not possible, we can provide pet food at an additional charge.
• Bedding is provided free of charge. However, you are welcome to bring your pet’s favorite blanket or your own bedding provided that it is washable.
• Please feel free to bring your pet’s favorite, durable toy such as a Kong or Nylabone. We ask that you do not bring stuffed dog toys.
Dogs
Genesee boarding facilities will board only animals that are house broken.
*We do recognize accidents can happen.
Genesee Pet Resort offers two types of boarding

• We are also able to do some boarding in our home for well mannered animals with special needs.
Your animal is guaranteed a clean comfortable stay in all areas.
Cats
We have limited space for cat boarding but are able to provide some single and double boarding. Cats are boarded in our reception area away from potential dog harassments.

Monday – Saturday 7 a.m. – 7 p.m.
Sunday 2 p.m. – 7 p.m.
• An additional day of boarding will be charged for pick-ups after 10 a.m. (Sunday always counts as a day of boarding.).
• Charges will be applied for early or late check-ins and check-outs.
• Though we are here caring for your pup, our office is closed for check-ins and check-outs on all major holidays.
• We require a $100 deposit for holiday stays.
• Be sure to inquire about additional holiday fees.
• Cancellation policy: We will refund a deposit if cancellation is at least 5 days prior to check-in date. No refunds of deposits will be made if the cancellation is less than 5 days prior to check-in.
• We accept VISA, MasterCard, checks and cash.
We encourage people to leash their pets until they are safely checked in.
