The Redondo Beach Dog Park is part of Dominguez Park and is on land leased from the Edison Company. ‘Friends of the Redondo Beach Dog Park, Inc.’ is a not for profit California corporation comprised of a board of directors with elected officers, all volunteers. The purpose of the ‘Friends’ is to raise funds and oversee the day-to-day management of the park. Since the Redondo Beach City Council approved the creation of a dog park in 1992, park patrons have donated over $70,000. These funds went to cleaning up the site (formerly a trash area), adding top soil, grass, sprinklers, fences, benches, water, etc. Our ongoing goal is to expand usage of the dog park to become a place to offer services and to bring people together. Since 1992, literally thousands of dogs (and owners) have enjoyed the park. At various times there are workshops, special events, dog training classes (starting early Spring), low-cost vaccination clinics, and the Pooch-a-rama Adoption Fair on the second Sunday of every month. Almost 250 dogs found homes last year as a result of these adoption fairs. Come join us in enjoying the park and become involved in it’s activities!

Off the 14 Fwy; Located between Ruether Ave and Golden Valley. Next to the Sports Complex Skatepark. 2 fenced yards, 1 for small dogs, 1 for big dogs. Lots of on leash walking paths around too.
The Laguna Niguel Pooch Park is a fully fenced, off leash dog park. The one-acre park includes three picnic tables with shade shelters and a restroom facility for the comfort of dog owners. Parking is located on the opposite side of the Fire Station from the park. The park may be accessed from the trail that runs behind the Fire Station, or from the sidewalk area along Golden Lantern. Please do not park in the Fire Station parking lot. Dogs must be kept on-leash until inside the park. Please remember to pick up after your dog, both inside and outside of the park.
Best dog park in town. Separate gated areas for small and large dogs. Unfortunately, some dogs are not very well behaved and aggressive. Wish owners had more control.

Review: I’ve been to almost all the dog parks in Ventura County and this is by far the nicest one in the area. It always has the most dogs and there’s even a separate part of the park for small dogs to play together. Will be coming here more often.
