Fenced, shade, water, poop bags, seating, and parking. Claremont Ave. at Hudson St., Oakland (Rockridge District), California, USA. Directions: under the freeway (Hwy 24) on Claremont between College Ave & Telegraph Ave.
Large off-leash area, limited grass (mostly brush, dirt and some rocky areas). 70 acre+ area, some picnic tables, limited water outlets and restrooms (please bring a water bottle on hot days). Adjacent to Oakland Airport. Lots of ground squirrels and trees. Perfect place for sniffy noses and very safe too! Potty bags available at entrance. Location: Neptune Dr. Directions: Take the Marina exit off of the 880, and go west towards the Marina. Make a right onto Doolittle and a left at Williams. Go to the end and make a right (my doggie brain thinks it is called Neptune Dr.). Follow to the end. The entrance is on the west side. Use a leash for the first 500 feet, them, let ’em roam!
Water, area for small dogs (dogs under 30 pounds), and restrooms. Location: Located on Westline Drive in Alameda. The Park is next to the Tennis Courts. The view includes the Bay and Golden Gate Bridges, the city skyline, the Oakland Estuary, and facing the other direction you can see the Mormon Temple in the Oakland hills. Location: 8th & Westline Drive at Crown Beach. Directions.
5 acre area, fenced, water nearby, paid parking meters, restrooms. No water at the site, but a hose located 50′ away to fill water jugs. Restrooms also 50′ away. Location: Eighth Street, Alameda, California, USA. Directions: From Oakland, through Webster Street Tube down Webster. Left at Encinal, right at 8th St. Parking metered lot near tennis courts. Dog run area is visible from the roadway.
Fenced Dog Park. Location: La Gonda Way. Directions: exit from S 680 at El Pintado Road, R onto La Gonda Way, exit from N 680 at El Cerro R onto La Gonda Way.
Marina and Fairway. It is just south of the channel bridge as you go along the shoreline next to the golf course. Park at the south end of Marina Park and walk over the bridge and you will find it.

Two off leash dog runs. Amenities include picnic tables, barbecues, a play area, two parking lots, rest rooms, an open lawn area, and of course two fenced dog runs. The hours are from dawn to dusk seven days a week. Location: 4660 Crow Canyon. Directions: At the end of Paradise Knls off of Center St.
Fenced half-acre site on the west side of the 30-acre park. Located at 1970 Via Buena Vista. From 880 take Hesperian exit. Turn Right at Bokman St. Left at Via Carmen follow road around to the right and road will eventually dead end at the San Lorenzo Community park.
Off-leash dog park. Dogs can be off leash from dawn until 9:00 A.M. The people who frequent this park are super nice and friendly. Location: Located off of San Carlos in the Rancho San Miguel housing development. San Jose Court off of Los Cerros. Directions: Across from Heather Farm! Turn off of Ygnacio Valley Road onto San Carlos and take a right at San Jose Ct.

1.3 acre dog run within Memorial Park (dedicated to 9/11/01). Fenced, water, shade structure, benches, and surface is decomposed granite, a sandy material that dogs seem to love. Location: Bollinger Canyon Road at San Ramon Valley Blvd., just west of I680 freeway offramp. Directions: I680 exit Bollinger Canyon Road, west to San Ramon Valley Blvd, park straight ahead on south side of Bollinger Canyon Road.
Off leash in undeveloped areas. Interstate 680, exit Ignacio Valley Rd., East on Ygnacio Valley Road. right to Walnut Avenue, and right on Castle Rock Road..
Dog Park within Ceasar Chavez park. Multi-acre off-leash area for dogs in the middle of the park. Location: University near Berkeley Marina. Directions: Take University Ave toward the bay. At the ‘t’ in the road, make a right. Follow the street past the hotel on the left and around the corner. Park on the right. Dog must remain on leash until you reach the dog park area in the center of the park. Clearly marked with signs.
