The Bernalillo County Animal Control and Protection Department’s primary responsibility is to protect the safety, health and welfare of the public while enforcing the humane treatment of animals.
The Brookfield Police Department employs one Animal Control Officer who provides numerous services to the city and its residents.
Stray animals picked up by the Animal Control Officers are taken to the Bedford County Animal Shelter located on Falling Creek Road. Manned by County staff, the shelter is an award-winning facility offering separate climate controlled quarters for dogs and cats, puppies and kittens.
It is the goal of Brigham City’s Animal Control to provide service to the citizens and animals of Brigham City through the professional operation of the Animal Shelter and through animal care and control programs.

This service generally concentrates on the dog population of the Town, but is also responsible for complaints dealing with raccoons, deer, trapped wildlife, and other concerns dealing with domestic or wild animals.
The Ramada Spokane Valley is pet friendly! Pets of any size are welcome for an additional fee of $10 per pet per night.
Mirabeau Park Hotel & Convention Center allows up to two dogs (of any size) for a deposit of $25 each.
Montvale Hotel allows up to two cats or dogs (50 lbs or less) per guest room for an additional fee of $25 per night.
La Quinta Inn & Suites Spokane is pet friendly! Up to two pets of any size are allowed in each room for no additional fee or deposit.
Comfort Inn North Spokane welcomes a maximum of two pets, of any size, per guest room for an additional $10 per pet, per night. All rooms are pet friendly.
Residence Inn by Marriott Spokane East Valley is pet friendly! Two pets of any size are welcome for an additional fee of $25 per night with a maximum fee of $75 per stay.
Approved by Dogs offers Behavior class, Agility, Trieball, Trick and Games and other dog sport classes. We use methods that reinforce good behavior with clicker training and reward-based training techniques. We have group lessons or we offer a private behavior training program for just you and your dog.
The Quality Inn Oakwood is pet friendly. Dogs must not exceed 50 lbs and guests may have 2 dogs or cats in a room. There is a $30 cleaning fee per stay.
