VeterinariansNo matter what the situation, we are here to help. We prefer our clients call ahead and schedule an appointment, but we also will accept walk-ins (with a higher exam fee). For our existing clients, we can take nail trims, anal glands, and most blood draws with no appointment necessary. Our office visits start at $41.59 and vary based on what medical treatment, services, and medications are required for your pet. For estimates, call our office and we will be happy to help you. Although we prefer to see our clients in our facility to provide the best care, we will make house calls for special circumstances. In addition to our comprehensive medical services, we offer boarding to established patients that are current on veterinary vaccinations. We also provide runs for larger dogs. Please call our office for more information. Strawbridge Animal Care is pleased to provide pharmacy services. In most cases, patients must have had a physical exam within the past year and blood work in order to receive prescription refills. New clients will need to have a physical exam with one of our veterinarians and must provide an authorized prescription from their previous veterinarian before receiving a medication refill. We also carry prescription diets and can dispense those to both current and new clients. For our new clients, we ask that your previous veterinarian contact us regarding your pet?s prescription diet. For your convenience, you may request refills by phoning (757) 427?6120. Your medicine will be ready for pick up anytime Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., or Saturday, 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. Please note: Refills on previously prescribed medications should be phoned in at least one day ahead of time to allow your veterinarian to review your pet?s history and progress before approving your refill. Remember to follow your veterinarian?s directions and label instructions when dispensing any pet medication. Be sure to check our emergencies page for situations that can?t wait.
