4 Paws is no kill, non-profit, volunteer, tax-exempt organization. Our mission is to rescue cats in the Sun Cities area; to provide temporary care either in foster homes or in a permanent shelter for such animals, while facilitating their adoption in appropriate homes; to cooperate with other organizations dedicated to the rescue and care of homeless animals, and to work for humane solutions to the problem of pet overpopulation. New clients’ rate: DOGS $35 per day.
BIG Discounts available: longtime-client, frequent guests, multiple pets (10 PERCENT OFF TOTAL), military (thank you for your service!); rescues; search or medical (“service”) dogs.
CATS $28 per day.
Pickup at 8:30 a.m. or noon is half-day charge; check-in 5:30 p.m. no charge for that night.
DAILY RATE IS ALL-INCLUSIVE: no extra charges for medications, special food (unless refrigeration is needed) or special pampering. HOLIDAY DEPOSITS may apply, as well as holiday cancellation fees.
HAVE PETS? WILL TRAVEL was started back in 1998 to give residents in Valley Center a safe, clean and loving home to leave their loveable little pets. Each little guest has different needs, which we accommodate with personal loving care. We built our new home with a special playroom,covered porch and yard for our guest. We offer special feedings, exercising, and daily walks. Along with Home Boarding we provide Doggie Daycare and Grooming Services. We have free transportation to all our visitors to and from your home. While your away, if you would rather leave your pets in the comfort of your home, we provide Professional Pet Sitting, Home Sitting, and Dog Walking. We recognize that staying away from home can be a strain on both pets and their families. It is our goal to make them feel at home and provide tender, loving care while they are here boarding with us. Our kennel techs treat all of our boarder as if they were their own.
We board dogs and cats on a regular basis; however we do provide boarding services to birds, hamster, rabbits/bunnies, and reptiles. Please call for availability. We provide blankets, raised cot beds, and adult dry dog food for the dogs. For felines, we provide litter boxes, bedding, litter, and adult dry cat food. If you wish for your pet to remain on their normal home diet, we will be happy to feed their own food at no additional charge.
We have a large, grassy, and enclosed boarding yard. Dogs are walked twice daily for 10-15 minutes at a time to stretch their legs and run around with their kennel tech. We do not let our boarding dogs off leash, or let them mingle with other non-family members while outside for their play time.
