The park is at Howe Avenue and Cottage Way. To get there, take the Capitol City Freeway East (used to be Business 80) from Sacramento. Take the El Camino exit and go East to Howe Avenue, where you will make a right and go south. After the school on the left, you will see the park. Make a left on Cottage Way, and enter the park at the first entrance on the left. The off-leash area of the park (it is fenced) is between the tennis courts and the baseball field. You can see the fenced-in area down the walkway with signs pertaining to this dog park. It is called Howe About Dogs Park. 1 acre dog park located in Carmichael Park. The dog park is open everyday. The Canine Corral features one acre of fenced running room, water, plenty of shade, poop scoop bags and lights for night use. There is benches and chairs for the owners as well. Carmichael, CA. Location: 5750 Grant Avenue. Directions: The dog park is located by the softball diamonds. Carmichael park is located on the corner of Fair Oaks Blvd and Grant Ave. The entrance to the park is on Grant.

Sacramento County’s new state-of-the-art facility features a dog park for small dogs and a dog park for large dogs. Please ensure your pets are currently vaccinated against Rabies and possess a current County license. Licenses can be purchased in the main building before entering the dog park. 2 Acre dog park! This 2-acre dog park includes two separate areas to exercise dogs off-leash, one for large dogs and one for small dogs. Each area has an agility play area, walking trail and benches. Location: 1575 Pleasant Grove Boulevard. Directions: Located off of Pleasant Grove Boulevard within Mahany Park.

Over 2.5 Acre Off-Leash Dog Park divided into 3 areas for small, medium, and/or large dogs, sociable and shy. Two large entrance areas for easy entering or exiting. Location: 11549 Fair Oaks Blvd. Directions: Fair Oaks is sixteen miles northeast of Sacramento on the north bank of the beautiful American River, two miles north of U.S. Highway 50. Take Hazel Exit. Cross Streets: Sunset and Runway.

Oak Avenue off Fair Oaks. Citrus Heights, CA Sacramento County. Over two acres, fenced, double-gated, lots of trees and good parking; open year ’round. Run by P.O.O.C.H. – Pet Owners of Citrus Heights. Location: C-Bar-C Park, 8275 Oak Avenue. Directions: From I80 take Sunrise south to Oak Ave. Turn left on to Oak. Drive .9 miles. Park is on the left (North) side of street.

Fenced dog park. Nice fenced park with benches and chairs. Water fountains for dogs & their owners. Location: Big Horn Blvd at Bruceville. Directions: Hwy 99 exit Laguna Blvd. go west to Bruceville Rd., turn right (N). Take left on Big Horn complex is immediately on left. Park at west end of parking lot near City Maintenance yard.

The park is located on Sierra Gardens Drive, North of Douglas Blvd. Off of eastbound I-80 take the Douglas Blvd. East exit, and keep going east. At the third traffic light make a left on to Sierra Gardens Drive. The park is on the right, just as the road begins to curve to the left. It is in a big bowl, is completely fenced, and has water available, including a couple of wading pools. (The organization R- DOG (Roseville Dog Owners Group) helped to establish the park and they keep the park supplied with bags, and they are responsible for improvements.)

Fenced in 1 acre+ just for dogs. Fresh water & doggie bags, Redwood trees for shade, a picnic table. Location: 9950 Elk Grove Florin Road. In Elk Grove Regional Park on the west side next to E. Stockton Blvd & HWY 99. Directions: Take Elk Grove exit off Hwy 99, then south on E. Stockton Blvd about 1 1/2 miles, take left into park at the west entrance, first right turn and it’s on the right. It is visible from Hwy 99 and E. Stockton Blvd.

Description: 4 acre off leash fenced dog park. Park is open from Dawn – Dusk (closed from Dawn to 11AM every Wednesday for maintenance). Location: Third Street & Santa Clara in the City of Lincoln. Directions: Hwy 65 to Moore Road in Lincoln (across from Safeway). Veer right and Moore Road turns into Joiner Parkway. Turn left on 3rd Street. Turn right on Santa Clara (just past the large oak tree on your right).
