Through fundraising efforts from El Paso County Parks and LOOP (Lovers of Off-leash Parks), a local citizen group, a Small Dog Area was created during the late Fall of 2005. The area is just under two acres and is adjacent to Bear Creek with steps and a handrail leading to the creek.
