Dr. Douglas Griffin started this practice in 1974. At first he treated both large and small animals, but as the small animal business became busier he had to discontinue treating all of the farm animals. At that point, Dr. Barry Porter joined him and they both built a very successful practice due to both the competency of the two doctors and how they treated all of their clients and their 4 legged children. There have been a couple of additions to the hospital over the years and we now have a nice sunny reception area, 4 exam rooms, a large treatment area and surgical suite and plenty of kennel space.
