Twin Lakes Veterinary Hospital
Boarding / KennelsVeterinarian supervised boarding for both dogs and cats is provided in our climate-controlled facility. Due to limited space, reservations must be made in advance, especially over school vacations and major holidays. A current exam with Twin Lakes Veterinary Hospital, current vaccinations, and a negative fecal exam are required prior to the time of admittance for the protection of your pet and other animals. We also require that pets be free of internal and external parasites to board with us; if any are found they will be treated for an additional expense. Boarding fees vary according to the weight of your pet.
All pets are given tender loving care (TLC) while staying with us. This attention includes walks, treats, playtime, cage amenities, and daily grooming. Dogs are given exercise and playtime in our enclosed outdoor courtyard three times daily. There is a separate cat ward for the comfort of our feline guests. Kennels are thoroughly cleaned and disinfected daily. Animals are fed as directed with their own food or a well-balanced house diet. If your pet is on a special diet, please bring only enough food for their stay in the hospital. We provide bowls and lots of bedding options, including yoga mats and soft blankets. We discourage bringing beds as most will not fit in our washer and dryer as well as bones and rawhides. Bringing a t-shirt with your scent may help your pet feel at home while staying with us.
Boarding Check-in times are as follows:
Monday – Wednesday: 9:00am – 6:00pm
Thursday – Friday: 9:00am – 5:00pm
Saturday: 9:00am – 12:00pm
If needed, you may check-in after these hours for a fee of $10. Please be aware that boarding check-in may take up to 15 minutes, so please plan accordingly.
