Vilano Beach is northeast of St. Augustine on the A1A Scenic and historical byway. There is a Publix Store where you can stop and pick up food and dog treats. There is a fee to get on the beach. You can drive your vehicle on the beach which is nice as then you don’t have to carry all your stuff in to the beach area. We were here in March and beach was very dog friendly. Not sure if rules change for the summer. Nice beach. Our dogs loved it.
