Since founding Wellesley Animal Hospital in 2001, Doctors Mark and Kelly Gottschalk have built a team and expanded services to accommodate the needs of our growing west Richmond community. In addition to the Gottschalks, our hospital now employs three associate veterinarians, five licensed and degreed veterinary technicians (or nurses), and a variety of skilled vet support staff. Our versatile team is proud to provide a wide range of excellent veterinary services. We offer pet wellness and preventative care, such as vaccinations and parasite control. We offer pet surgical and dental services, acupuncture, and laser therapy. We conduct in-house tests and screenings, utilizing our advanced diagnostic equipment and in-house laboratory. And our skilled veterinarians perform outpatient surgeries ? both general and dental ? in our two surgical suites. The team at Wellesley is bound together by our love for animals, but you?ll find that we all share a compassion for people, too.
