Highmark Kennel is a family owned boarding/grooming facility situated on four acres, bordering the beautiful Texas hill country of southwest Austin. Highmark offers spacious accommodations for dogs, with plenty of exercise and fresh air. Highmark is a full service facility with grooming, obedience training, pet products, swimming pool,, novelties, and a knowledgeable staff.
Highmark is the home of Kitty City, a full service boarding facility for our feline friends. Highmark’s Kitty City provides a relaxing home environment for its feline guests, complete with beautiful views of the outdoors and plush bedding.
Dogs love to play at Action Pack Dog Center when their owners are away. Unlike a traditional dog boarding kennel, our focus is to monitor each guest closely, give them plenty of hugs and belly-rubs, and make sure they get lots of exercise, playtime and human interaction each and every day. We have two locations to serve you in Round Rock, TX and Georgetown, TX.
Dog Boarding Accommodations include:
- Spacious indoor climate controlled private dog boarding rooms
- Three to four elimination breaks daily in large outdoor play areas
- Daily monitoring and wellness checks by our Guest Services team to ensure our guests are enjoying themselves during their stay
- Meals served twice daily or as requested (high quality kibble provided or bring your own)

Dog Boarding is $25.00 per night. You may drop off your pet anytime Monday-Friday 7:00 a.m.-6:00 p.m., Saturday 8 a.m.-2 p.m.. We also have Sunday boarding release between 3:30-4:30p.m., the charge for Sunday release is $12.50.
Cat Boarding is $24.00 per night. You may drop off your pet anytime Monday-Friday 7:00 a.m.-6:00 p.m., Saturday 8 a.m.-2 p.m. We also have Sunday boarding release between 3:30-4:30 p.m. the charge for Sunday release is $12.50.
There is an additional charge for administration of fluids or injectable medications of $10.50 per night.
If your dogs or cats can board together you will receive an additional 10% discount per pet per night.
I am so excited to bring an Action Pack Dog Center to Georgetown, TX. I have been a pet lover all my life and both of my parents, Art & Janell, and myself were the founding team at the Round Rock location when they opened in 2008.
When we found this little slice of heaven in the center of Georgetown, with the gorgeous heritage oaks, the lush grass and beautiful acreage, we thought this is SO Action Pack Dog Center!

Boarding – it is good to call ahead of time to schedule Boarding
They must be current with Vaccinations (Dogs- Rabies, Dhlppc, Bordetella) (Cats- Rabies, Fvrcp), and free from all Parasites (fleas, ticks, worms, etc.) If fleas are seen, flea medication will be applied at owner’s expense.
If you are dropping off or picking up your pet outside of regular clinic hours, we will add one day of boarding

An off lead dog park on a peninsula into Town Lake. There is a people trail that is approximately 1/2 mile long with multiple safe places for dogs to swim or retrieve. There are often folks fishing or launching kayaks here also and the dog people and the sports people try to be considerate of each other’s varied uses of the park. Really a beautiful place. Wooded peninsula with lake on 3 sides; bags. Location: 3401 Red Bud Trail Unit Cr. Directions: Take the Lake Austin Blvd exit off of Mopac and turn West. Follow to second traffic light which is Red Bud. There is a golf course on the right as a landmark. Turn Left onto Red Bud and watch for entrance on left to park just after bridge.
