In the mid-1800’s Fairfax Animal Hospital was a dairy farm. In the 1930’s beside where we are residing now there was a country store, there were pony rides, and in the 1940’s the airport was right across the street. In 1945 we became the first animal hospital in Fairfax County.

Directions: Bark Park entrance is off Washington Lane. Using Church Road: If eastbound on Church: turn right/if westbound: turn left onto Washington Lane (towards Philadelphia!) Proceed about 1/4 mile downhill. Near the base of the hill is a small bridge. Just before the bridge is a small gated street/driveway on your right (passenger side). This is Curtis Hall’s Drive. Turn in and follow the road to the first parking lot. The Bark Park is on the east side of the lot. From Cheltenham Ave & Washington Lane: turn onto Washington Lane (heading for the suburbs!).
