The Houston Humane Society is dedicated to, and working towards, ending cruelty, abuse and the overpopulation of animals while providing the highest quality of life to those in our care.We receive no federal, state, or local funding and rely solely on donations and special events.
Our mission is to serve the community with our knowledge, compassion, and dedication to animal welfare. We are a family oriented clinic and understand what an important role pets play in our lives. We would love to make you and your family pet a part of our own!

The Animal Services Department’s principal mission is to protect the public’s life, health and welfare by the prompt, efficient and humane enforcement of the animal control ordinance. The Animal Services Department also operates the animal shelter efficiently, and humanely providing clean and sanitary confinement with fresh food and water for thousands of animals annually.
By providing affordable spay and neuter surgeries and wellness services, the Animal Birth Control Clinic promotes responsible, lifetime pet ownership and saves lives.
Established in 1997, Animal Resource Center, Inc. d/b/a SpaySA is a nonprofit 501c(3) organization that provides low and no cost spay/neuter surgeries and wellness services to pets in San Antonio and Bexar County. The largest spay/neuter clinic in San Antonio, SpaySA has performed over 137,832 surgeries and has helped tens of thousands of dogs and cats each year through their surgery clinic, wellness services and pet education. SpaySA supports San Antonio’s no-kill goal by helping to prevent the overpopulation of dogs and cats.
Through our spay/neuter voucher program, we provide free spay/neuter surgeries for dogs and cats of low-income El Paso area residents.
Brownsville Spay & Neuter, Inc., in partnership with the City of Brownsville and various animal rescue groups, is dedicated to being part of the solution by providing low-cost spay/neuter surgeries and preventative care for all animals.
The RGV Low Cost/Spay Neuter Clinic is dedicated to the ending of pet overpopulation by providing high quality and affordable sterilization services for companion animals.
Spay/Neuter Solutions For Cats is a non-profit 501(c)(3) reduced cost spay/neuter program for cats and kittens and may be utilized by anyone with the desire to help curb the problem of cat over-population.
In 2010 we bought our own building located at 2301 N. 3rd, Abilene, Texas. We have dog runs and facilities for cats. We continue the same mission as always, finding loving and caring homes for the animals. We have contracts with various vet clinics in Abilene and the surrounding area to care for our animals.
Since opening its doors in April 2005, the Klein Animal Shelter in Jacksonville, Texas, has served as a safe haven for Cherokee County’s homeless animals, rehomed more than 8,000 animals and spayed/neutered more than 3,000!
SNSSET was incorporated in Texas on July 18, 2011, with this mission: to address the animal homeless and overpopulation crisis at its source by providing affordable spay/neuter services to East Texas.
SNIPPET focuses on the reduction of unwanted litters in our community, which in turn brings down the homeless pet overpopulation and the extremely high rate of euthanasia by local animal control agencies
M.A.C. is an alliance of 501(C)3 animal welfare organizations in Collin, Dallas, Denton, and Tarrant counties whose members have joined together in order to reduce the killing of dogs and cats in municipal animal shelters and humane societies. We are “Making Animals Count!”
The Animal Protection League (the League) was formed in 1984 in the state of Texas as an animal rescue and adoption agency. In May 1996, the League was reorganized with an additional goal of operating a low cost spay/neuter and vaccination program located in Sulphur Springs, Texas. With the successful implementation of the spay/neuter and vaccination program, the League began to expand services to other communities with the operation of a transfer program from surrounding counties.In January 2012, we purchased a 20 foot surgical trailer. This allowed our staff to travel to surrounding communities.

Animal Care Services is the Bexar County’s largest open admission shelter. The shelter takes in thousands of unwanted animals every year. You can help stop the pet over population problem.
We serve Palm Coast, Bunnell, and Flagler Beach in controlling Feral Cat population and colonies. Established in 2003, we are a 501c3 non profit organization dedicated to enacting ethical, non-lethal and effective polices to reduce feral cat populations. We rely solely on financial resources through donations and fund raisers. We strongly believe in Trap-Neuter-Return and a No Kill policy. We have foster homes for our adoptable pets. A pantry is also offered to anyone who is in need of food for their cats.
Alachua County Humane Society is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization that strives to eliminate euthanasia of healthy, treatable cats and dogs in our community. Most of the animals at our facility come from Alachua County Animal Services, and from the moment we pick them up, our number one priority is to get them well and find them loving homes as quickly as possible.
Our mission is to take in homeless animals, care for them for the time they are with us, and find them loving “forever homes” where they can live out their lives as part of a family. The Flagler Humane Society is a 501(c)(3) Non-Profit organization.
St. Augustine Humane Society promotes healthy responsible lifelong pet ownership by serving the medical and rehabilitative needs of companion animals in our community. Our programs are designed to strengthen human-pet relationships by reducing the need for pets to enter shelters. Our goal is to encourage the humane treatment of animals, prevent overpopulation, and end animal cruelty.
Our 501(c)3 organization Island Cat Feral Rescue, Inc. was founded to further the advancement of animal welfare by preventing cruelty to animals – by serving as a resource on humane and effective management of feral cat colony populations.Our Directors and volunteers provide leadership from a diverse section of the community which includes Veterinarians, Adoption Specialists, Vet Techs, Foster Families, along with individuals that are not animal health professionals. Their love and compassion for all cats – feral, stray or domestic brings them together in a mutual goal of animal protection and advocacy.
