Dobermann Rescue of Lake Placid, Inc. is a nonprofit organization dedicated to finding homes for stray and abandoned Dobermanns. Dobermann Rescue of Lake Placid is one of several Dobermann rescue groups that are operating in Florida. Dobermann Rescue of Lake Placid cooperates with other Dobermann rescue groups. All Dobermanns accepted into the organization are fostered in private homes. Foster homes allow us to better care for the Dobermann in a non-stressful “home” environment. It also allows us to evaluate each Dobe’s temperament and “quirks” so that they can be successfully placed in a “forever home”.
