We are a small not for profit 501(c)(3) non profit organization. — All volunteer rescue group who are dedicated to rescue,re-hab and re-homing toy breed dogs from commercial kennels, puppymills, and shelters.
We rescue mostly Chihuahuas, Chinese Cresteds, Shih Tzus, Mini Schnauzers, Brussels Griffons, but not limited to these breeds. At times you will see a Pap, Pom, Yorkie, or a Poodle in our care. We love them all but we are limited at times to what our foster homes are experienced with. We consist of volunteer families and individuals in the U.S., who foster in our homes. We are always in need of caring people to temporarily foster them until they go home.
Our priorities are threefold. Our top priority is to support each other in the work we do. Our second priority is to help people with their animal companions through education. And our third, and most important priority is to help animals currently in limbo find their human partners. We love and honor every living creature and strive to find the perfect homes for our foster “children.”
We are a non profit 501(c)(3) organization, based in Michigan. We are dedicated to the rescue and re-homing of the Chinese Crested and other small breed dogs all over the US.
Bald Is Beautiful Hairless and Small Breed Rescue, Inc. is a national 501c3 non profit organization. We are an independent rescue whose members- all volunteers- have over 25 years of combined experience in the rescue and rehabilitation of dogs in need. Our members’ reasons for being in rescue are varied from being compassionate lifetime dog lovers to having bought that “cute little puppy in the window” only to have our hearts broken when they became ill from being born to sick mothers kept in deplorable conditions. Or when we sadly discovered that the “home raised” pups were, in reality, puppy mill puppies. Whatever brought us to BisB, we stay because we have seen our hard work and dedication pay off in changing the lives of so many deserving dogs.
