Morning Star Farm Pet Resort, LLC offers a safe & friendly environment for your pet. We’re dog experts! We know just what they like….a good scratch behind the ears and belly rubs are a plenty! Leave knowing your pet will be well cared for in your absence. Our country facility is located on a private, wooded 40 acres. The owner lives on the property, and our staff are handpicked animal lovers who are friendly, caring and courteous.
Unscheduled tours of the entire facility – Stop in anytime to look around, no appointment necessary!
Free trial visits prior to stay – We invite every pet who boards with us to come in for a free daycare prior to their overnight stay. During their trial your pet will hang out with us in the kennel for a few hours, become familiar with our routine, have a playtime outside and meet his/her caretakers. While this is not mandatory it is highly recommended and entirely free!
1 staff member for every 10 dogs – We provide constant 1 on 1 care and attention to make your pet’s stay as comfortable and stress free as we can. Even while our office is closed two of our employees (Adam and Ashley) live in the house attached to the kennel so there is someone here 24/7 with your pet!
Individual and group playtimes – Whether your dog loves to play with others or just the opposite we have the perfect setting for them. Our 3/4 acre park allows our boarders who get along to run and romp together, always supervised, for up to six hours a day! For those who don’t enjoy the company of others, or even pets recovering from injury, our oversized play yards are perfect for 1 on 1 play times with one of our staff members.
Individually prepared meals – We’re happy to feed our boarders only the best, high quality pet food. Eagle Pack Brand Holistic Select dry dog food, Triumph and Evolve Brand canned dog food and a variety of all natural wet and dry cat foods are always on hand and included in your boarding price. For those pets that require a special diet or would be more comfortable eating their own food we’d be happy to feed anything you’d like to bring with them. We even have plenty of freezer and refrigeration room for raw diets!
All medications administered free of charge – From something as simple as daily vitamins or supplements to as complex as insulin shots in diabetic dogs and cats our trained staff is always here to help. With two of our employees living on site we are able to administer medications any time of day or night in the event of a time restricted medication, i.e. seizure medications, insulin, etc.
Continuity of Care – In the event your pet should become ill or medical attention is needed while your pet is staying with us we are happy to bring them to the veterinarian with whom you’ve chosen for your pet. If immediate attention is required we will bring them to our nearest emergency clinic, Bolton Veterinary Hospital, in Bolton, Ct.
Open 7 days a week, 365 days a year – We know the best place for your pet to be is at home with you. In order to provide the ultimate in convenience to our customers we are open for pet drop-off and pick-up every day of the year!
