Gonzales Beach is a large beach that circles Gonzales Bay in the south-eastern section of Victoria. Dogs are allowed on Gonzales Beach 24 hours a day except from June 1 to August 31 when they are not allowed on the beach at all. Dogs must be under control at all times, must be cleaned up after and must be on-leash whenever they are outside of the off-leash area.
The San Juan Island National Historical Park is the perfect stop for those who love history, the outdoors, and dogs. Dogs on leashes (up to 6 feet) are welcome on all park trails and ocean beaches in the park. If you are looking for a day on the water with your furry companion, Jackson’s Beach has a public boat launch at the end of the peninsula that is perfect for launching small boats. The beach has ample space for picnics and playing catch with your canine best friend.
