This 11.8 hectare parcel of land is owned by the University of Victoria. It is being reserved for future development of the University, but over recent years it has acted informally as a well known off leash dog park. Other current uses include soil storage and processing by the Facilities Management Department and a forest biology research area. The parcel mainly consists of open field, with remnants of a former orchard. There is fencing around 98% of the park with a couple of openings down into Mystic Vale Hot and dry in summer – bring water Extremely muddy in winter, the dogs seem to love it but you’ll need gumboots.
