Camp K-9 is a home away from home for your dog! We have 2.17 acres of land, divided into fenced in yards, for dogs to run and play. They get a lot of outside time in the fresh air and real grass.

What makes us different? We understand the stress that cats and dogs go through. Each animal will be allowed as much time as needed to enjoy the grooming appointment. We do not tranquilize dogs. Patience works just as well. We welcome special needs dogs. Unlike other dog grooming shops, we do offer filtered water and potty breaks during the service appointment. Dogs are not being crated. Feel safe to leave your pet with us, we are insured and CPR certified. Doggy Has It is registered with the Kane County Clerk’s Office and affiliated with the Animal Spirit Network.

The Union County Sheriff’s Office Animal Control Division consists of two full time mandated Deputy Sheriff’s.  They are assigned to investigate issues concerning domesticated animals.  They respond to nuisance complaint issues, injured animal and animal related bite cases.  In addition, the Animal Control Deputies investigate conditions concerning animal welfare, cruelty and housing concerns.  The staff oversees shelter operations and work closely with a local Rescue Organization in an attempt to either adopt or locate other arrangements for the animals.  They work along with the Mountain Shelter Humane Society.
