Animal Control is responsible for the enforcement of the city’s animal control ordinances and control, care and regulation of animals. Primary functions are to safeguard the public and to ensure responsible supervision and humane treatment for all animals within the city’s jurisdiction.

We are a municipal facility serving the Township of West Orange. All adoptable animals are held until placed or put in foster homes. We have an active volunteer group (the West Orange Animal Welfare League) and a very successful adoption program.

The Amador County Animal Control Department operates one shelter within the County. The shelter’s function is to impound stray animals; pick up and provide medical care for sick and injured animals; issue citations for violations of applicable laws and ordinances; rescue endangered animals; conduct preliminary investigations of inhumane treatment of animals; investigate and correct animal nuisance complaints; receive and hold animals for evidence; provide the observation of biting animals for the County Health Officer; issue licensing; and provide routine patrol services.

The Amarillo Animal Management & Welfare Department concentrates its efforts on reducing nuisances and dangers associated with stray animals, health-related hazards of animals, and insuring proper care of pets. These efforts focus on education programs, training of personnel, patrolling the City, and responding to concerned citizens. Amarillo Animal Management & Welfare Department personnel are subject to extensive professional training and college level courses on animals and animal care, investigations, management, public relations and criminal justice.

Amelia County Animal Shelter is located in Amelia County, Virginia. We are a government run facility operated by the Amelia County Animal Control.

The Ames Animal Shelter is a safe and humane place for the care of homeless, unwanted, lost, injured and many other animals, while owners are sought. At the Ames Animal Shelter we promise to love and care for the pets brought to us to the best of our abilities; we promise to make them as comfortable as possible in a difficult situation; we will work responsibly to maintain our 90%+ reclaim and adoption rate!

We are a small animal control/shelter facility overseen by the Angleton Police Department.

Animal Control of Dickson TN does not have an adoption program. Last Chance Pet Rescue LLC is a private rescue. If someone wants to adopt an animal, animal control will release it to Last Chance and we will perform the adoption/spay/neuter, vaccs.

A public service offered to citizens that provides animal control under The City of Winnipeg Act for issues such as neighborhood disputes regarding the behavior of someone’s pet, animal bites/attacks, stray dogs, illegal animals, wildlife, concerns, quarantine, impoundment of stray/unwanted animals, disposition of unclaimed/unwanted animals, injured animals, after hours emergency response, enforcement of related bylaws, general inquiries, etc.

We are Anne Arundel County Animal Control we provide enforcement of laws pertaining to animals in Anne Arundel County, we provide adoption and redemption services for animals, we are an open admission shelter for Anne Arundel County residents.
