We are a small scale, non-profit animal sanctuary near Orlando International Airport. We specialize in English Bulldogs and small Chihuahua mixes, but have many other types of dogs, cats, and companion animals. We RARELY have puppies and prefer to rescue senior dogs. In memory of baby Connor Michael Celentano, who died of Sudden Infant Death Syndrome in 2006.
While our rescue work focuses mainly on English Bulldogs, Chihuahuas, Yorkies, and other small breed dogs, we often have others available for adoption
Chihuahua/Small Dog Rescue of Central Florida is staffed by a small group of dedicated, unpaid volunteers. We receive no commercial or government funding.
In 2003, I became a foster mom to homeless Chihuahuas with Small Dog Rescue & Humane Society, Inc., a 501c3 animal rescue organization in Atlanta, Ga. For 3 years I fostered hundreds of Chihuahuas in my home and also worked as an adoption counselor and kennel/office manager at their 50 dog facility in Alpharetta, Ga.

Chihuahuas of the Valley is a small Los Angeles, CA based dog rescue that is run by volunteers and funded entirely by donations and adoption fees. We rescue dogs from high kill shelters and the occasional stray if we have space available and find them loving forever homes.

We work with breeders and other rescuers to foster, heal and place Chihuahuas into loving and supportive homes. Many of our dogs come to us with no socialization and require weeks or months of trust building. Others are coming from families who simply cannot keep them anymore. When available for adoption, they will all be spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccinations and appropriately prepared for a new family or person to love!

Save Our SweetHearts (SOS) is a non-profit 501-C3 organization located in South West Florida in the Fort Myers area that will rescue, rehabilitate and re-home small dogs, cats, domestic pets & small exotics. We will provide foster care for abandoned, abused, surrendered pets and pets from shelters
An independent rescue for small senior dogs over 6 years old and up to 12 pounds. Includes blind and/or deaf dogs. Rescues are placed in foster homes only. We do not use kennels. ALL Creatures Matter Rescue is here to help small breed dogs in need and ensure they get the care they deserve and are placed with loving families. I am very concerned about the welfare of these animals; therefore, an application and references will be required for adoption. All pets will have a non-refundable adoption fee and will be fully vetted. They will be spayed or neutered before leaving the rescue. We don’t want to contribute to the pet over-population and to the killing of innocent animals. ACM exists to save the lives of animals in need and depends upon donations, adoptions, and volunteers to exist.
All Terrier Rescue was founded and incorporated in 1991. Jeri and Samantha Miller the owners of the rescue started out by having a wonderful Scottish Terrier named Tessa. Tessa helped them join the Terrier Association, National Scottie Rescue and several other breed related clubs. In 1990 the Miller’s started fostering for the Oregon Humane Society and shortly there after All Terrier Rescue was born.
Scruffy Mutt Rescue is an organization that is determined to provide loving homes for all those homeless wiry, fluffy, scraggly mystery dogs that are so irresistibly cute. Any type of purebred or mixed breed Terriers, Poodles or Chihuahuas are welcomed into our rescue when space allows.
