In 2003, I became a foster mom to homeless Chihuahuas with Small Dog Rescue & Humane Society, Inc., a 501c3 animal rescue organization in Atlanta, Ga. For 3 years I fostered hundreds of Chihuahuas in my home and also worked as an adoption counselor and kennel/office manager at their 50 dog facility in Alpharetta, Ga.
