ALF is based in Tempe Arizona. We are an all-volunteer 501(c)3 group who provides TNR (trap neuter return) and life-long care of feral and community cats and medical care and adoption to injured stray cats.
All of our adoptable pets are tested vaccinated spayed or neutered. We strive to find loving responsible forever homes for pets so that they will never know hunger or danger again. We do not have a shelter facility and do not accept animals from the public.
We are members of Petfinder AdoptaPet AZCOR AZARC AZMN PACC911 Phoenix Feral Friends Alley Cat Allies and Best Friends No More Homeless Pets Network. Our rescue partners are Paw Placement Tucson2Tails and 2nd Chance Dog Rescue.
Animal Loving Friends believes that we – as a rescue community – will never adopt our way out of overpopulation and euthanasia; the root cause of the problem has to be fixed: unaltered free-roaming animals. The number of births we prevent by spaying and neutering homeless cats directly contributes to adoption achievements by keeping approximately 1000 animals every year out of adoption and kill shelters. This means there is space for 1000 more to be saved by adoption groups.
If you’d like to help or donate food or vet services please email alfrescue @ hotmail.com for information. Donations are tax-deductible.
Overpopulation of homeless animals leads to the needless suffering and deaths of over 4 million animals each year. Please spay and neuter all your pets and urge your friends and family to do the same. If you are feeding stray cats please contact the Spay Neuter Hotline today to schedule spay and neuter appointments. 602-265-SPAY(7729)
There are several affordable low cost spay and neuter options all over the valley. View a list of Clinics on our website at http://ALF.Petfinder.com.
We at Animal Loving Friends object to the alledged practices of the Animal Liberation Front and want to let you know that we are in no way associated with them though the acronym (ALF) is the same. (from Facebook)
