Great Lakes Lab Rescue (GLLR) is a 501(c)3 charitable organization dedicated to placing unwanted Labradors into loving new homes, providing good homes for Labrodor Retrievers who might otherwise be abandoned or euthanized by their previous owners, and reducing the unwanted dog population and increasing responsible pet ownership of all dogs through education. We’ve been placing labs in loving homes since August, 2000. Since that time we have accepted well over 600 dogs into our program. In addition to being loyal companions in privates homes, some of our dogs have gone on to work for the FBI, DEA, Border Control, police stations etc.
