The HUMANE SOCIETY OF INDEPENDENCE COUNTY is a 501c3 non-profit organization dedicated to rescuing and providing a safe shelter for abandoned abused homeless and unwanted dogs and cats within Independence County and ultimately placing them in secure loving and stable homes. The Humane Society of Independence County believes that a strong bond between man and animal is beneficial to both creating an atmosphere of love and companionship that lasts a lifetime.
