We rescue dogs, puppies, cats and kittens from high kill shelters. Shelters that euthanize about 50% of their animals. We place them in loving foster homes. We are a bridge to get these animals to safe loving forever homes.

Do not use this shelter. We were hoping to adopt two kittens, but when Joann showed up with the kittens, she said we had to foster and pay for them in advance even though one was sick and both were undersized and illegal to adopt when we recieived them. So, we fostered two kittens from this shelter and they charged us $220 because we were hoping to adopt them in a month or two, when they were eligible–if both survived. No other shelter charges to foster, and none charge this much to adopt two kittens. They do not provide any support, food, etc. as listed on their forms and sites. They do not honor the adoption prices listed on their website or on adopt-a pet online. No other shelter in town charges that much, and she said it was a discounted price. They did not provide support or veterinary care even though one of the kittens was given to us already sick, and we kept asking for help and a vet visit. After the kitten continued to get worse over 3 weeks, we kept asking to see a vet and they denied it. We ended up with an emergency vet bill of over $200, and were threatened with court action by the shelter instead of reimbursed. They were willing to have the kitten die, and the ER vet was disgusted with the care. There are far better shelters who charge reasonable prices and provide support to fosters. Do not trust what they say! They just want $$$$$!
