It all started with an abused puppy named Rico. Rico’s Rescue is a licensed, foster home based rescue out of Belleville, Illinois. We do not have a shelter, so all of our animals are kept in foster homes until their furever families are found. We save animals from high kill shelters. We also accept owner surrenders on a case by case basis as space allows.
