We are retired couple, started the rescue in memory of our schnauzer who passed at 14 y.o. and have been in rescue 8 years. We also reformed a dog pound in ohio that had 99% euth rate; we enjoy helping save animals, we network with many other rescues, we mentor new rescues, we transport and work with breeders who release their older dogs. We vet all our dogs and most all need dentals, hence our adoption fees are higher than pounds. We do receive a rescue discount from our vet which makes this possible to keep adoption fees lower than if an adopter had to do it. We microchip our rescue dogs.
