It is the mission of the Wilbarger Humane Society to emphasize the importance of spaying and neutering of pets to prevent unwanted animals; to protect animals from abuse, neglect, exploitation and overpopulation; to give the homeless pets a safe haven until they are adopted into good, caring homes; to support legislation that broadens the animal cruelty laws and increases the penalty to violators and to educate the public on being responsible pet owners.
